On Thursday I attended the Grazing Conference held at Roane State college. The conference had been scheduled to be held in the Obrien building but there was a big turnout (more than 150 in attendence) so the conference was moved to the adjacent Roane State Expo center. Last year Debby and the kids went to Farm Day at the expo center, they always have something going on there, it's a nice facility.
There were several speakers at the conference including a "colorful" local veterinarian who runs a beef cattle stocker operation, local/regional reps from the national resources conservation service, and Greg Judy.
Greg Judy was the main speaker and he gave several interesting/amazing presentations. Just do a search for "greg judy mob grazing" and you should find some good links.
