Happy Veterans day to all! The freedoms and liberties we enjoy today are the result of the sacrifices made by the present and past veterans of this nation.
I gave a talk today at lunch about the Spallation Neutron Source to the Knoxville Sertoma Club, a longstanding service organization in the area. The group meets at Regas Restaurant on Tuesdays. I had a little trouble getting there due to the Veterans Day parade, but all was fine. I gave a talk earlier this year to the same group on the subject of pigeon racing.
